So it's a few days late, but boy we've got a show for you this week. I had a set list that we were going to follow, then we got off on so many tangents I couldn't get to the first topic until after the break. I think it's all worth it, though, and I hope you agree. Topics for this week's show include:
- we kicked off the show talking about the rundown of what summer movies are left. Guess which one we talked about the most? It's not what you think.
- I've been spending a lot of time on Xbox Live and I share what's good and not so good about it. James and I also talked about Sony's attempt to join the on-line hub crowd with @ Home.
- hey, remember that Gamefly promotion that would get me a Wii? Yeah, it's still going on, and I still need two more people to sign up for an account. I'm thinking of spending one post a day whining about it until I get my final two. Consider the segment of this show Day 1.
- Finally we got to our topics, but by that time we were running late. We did manage to give a mine-review of Fantasic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer for the 360 and I talked a little about Dead Rising at the end. Look for more on that game next episode.
People who play games are nuts. And I'm one of them! On a completely unrelated note, melt and I saw 1408 last night but were too tired to tape any sort of review for it. Here's a quick bottom line for those interested: classic horror film with above par acting and genuine chills. It's not a monster movie, which is refreshing, and really requires you to actively pay attention, which is also a rarity. Definitely recommended.
You know what else I recommend? This show. Do the same and spread the word.
